Noreen Khimji
Noreen is an Associate Lawyer with Smith Immigration Law. Noreen specializes in preparing refugee applications and handling matters before the Immigration and Refugee Board.
Noreen received her Bachelor of Arts degree from Wilfrid Laurier University in 2018, with a major in Global Studies and minors in Spanish and Psychology. She then completed a dual-degree program at Queen’s University, receiving her Juris Doctor and Master of Public Administration in 2022.
While in law school, Noreen was an active participant in the Indigenous Law Students Alliance and Queen’s Women in Law. She was a student caseworker at the Queen’s Elder Law Clinic, and she completed an internship with the United Nations Relief and Works Agency.
Prior to joining Smith Immigration Law, she completed legal training with the Legal and Risk team at Canadian Red Cross.
Noreen speaks conversational Spanish.
